Description

The LMS Coronation Class Pacifics, were introduced in 1937. Eventually they would be called the Duchesses. By 1964, every one was gone from service. This DVD studies the class and its development, using cine archive footage, including rare colour shots of streamlined examples. Also featured are two of the three survivors – 46229 Duchess of Hamilton and 6233 Duchess of Sutherland.
