Here is a portrait of Herefordshire in all its diversity, from its spectacular scenery and interesting towns and villages, to its history, agriculture, cider-making, nature, seasonal events, legends, ghost stories and people. There is a special sequence devoted to the county’s best-known treasure, ‘The Mappa Mundi’ in Hereford Cathedral – designed to enhance the understanding and enjoyment of those who visit it or are interested in it. As well as the better-known centres of interest, we are shown some of the more unusual places which might be overlooked.
