Description

Climb into the cab of an Anglia Railways Class 150 departing from Norwich in 2001. Stopping at Brundall station, we then head towards Brundall Junction before the train is suddenly red-flagged by an anxious signalman! Drama concluded, we journey on to Acle where we join the single line into Great Yarmouth. A quick change of ends and our train departs for Norwich once more.

This Cab Ride was recorded from the cab of an Anglia Railways Class 150 departing from Norwich at 11.50 on 20th August 2001. The journey takes us from Platform 5 at Norwich where we also view Class 67s and 90s. We pass through Brundall Gardens before stopping at Brundall Station and progressing towards Brundall Junction where the signalman has stopped our train with a red flag. A gardener was trimming his hedge close to the line and so our driver had to watch out! We continue our journey to Linwood and then Acle where we join the single line to Great Yarmouth. A quick change of ends and our train departs for Norwich for arrival at 12.58
