Description

Join us for a 25-mile journey from Richmond in south-west London to Upminster, the London Underground’s most eastward station. We’ll see how the District Line has developed from its origins as a sub-surface route in the 1860s. Starting on the surface, we cross the Thames at Kew before turning east at Acton. After Earl’s Court we’ll be mainly underground until we reach Bow Road.
