This DVD records the final year of traditional tramway operation in Blackpool. It is divided into 4 chapters: Trams in regular service between Pleasure Beach and Little Bispham; the launch of the Bombardier Flexity 2; tours and specials on the final weekend of operation, 5th/6th November; the final evening operations on 6th November and the last trams to return to Rigby Road Depot.

This DVD records the final year of traditional tramway operation in Blackpool. It is divided into 4 chapters as follows: 1: Trams in regular service between Pleasure Beach and Little Bispham including trams entering service and at various points along the route. The basic service in 2011 was provided mostly by single deck trams each day until around 4pm when double deck cars were brought into service. 2: The launch of the Bombardier Flexity 2 at the new Starr Gate depot on 8th September 2011, including video of the heritage cars used to transport the invited guests. 3: Tours and specials on the final weekend of operation, 5/6th November. Trams featured are Twin Car 672/682 and 675/685, heritage cars 600, 715, 717 and Standard 147. 4: The final evening of operation on 6th November. This features the last trams to return to Rigby Road Depot plus most of the trams operated during the evening including the illuminated cars. Most of the trams featured in this video were withdrawn at the end of the season and will not run in Blackpool again, the colourful sight of the different liveries used being consigned to the history books.
