Full description from the producer:
After the success of the ‘Weymouth Seaside Express’, this program takes a look at the ‘Royal Duchy’ series of trains. Starting at Temple Meads we speed across the Somerset Levels towards Taunton before the climb to Whiteball. After Exeter, we take in the beautiful scenery alongside the famous sea wall stretch at Dawlish & Teignmouth. Once away from the coast we head inland at Newton Abbot before doing battle with the famous South Devon Banks. We then cross over the River Tamar into Cornwall and negotiate the ups & downs before arriving at our destination, Par.
As well as a wide variety of locomotives, we also feature a variety of lineside locations, as well as on train and footplate scenes from various runs.
Locomotives featured:
• 5029 ‘Nunney Castle’
• 46233 ‘Duchess of Sutherland’
• 60009 ‘Union of South Africa’
